Designed for rooftop mounting, high gain fixed mount cell phone antennas are
frequently used in conjunction with a
wireless cellular building
repeater. In order to achieve maximum signal gain for an individual cell phone
or cellular device, they are also commonly used with a
direct-connect amplifier,
appropriate coax cable, and
phone specific external antenna adapter.
Along with being used as the exterior (donor) antenna for
cellular repeater systems,
these antennas are also frequently used with
inline amplifiers for maximum single
device signal improvement.
High Gain Omni Directional Cellular/PCS/iDEN Fiberglass Antennas
Omni-directional dual band cellular outdoor roof mount antennas are used when
the cell phone repeater
system is enhancing more than one wireless provider and/or there are multiple
cell sites in the area. The dual band omni directional antenna can also be used
as a cellular phone booster antenna when connected to an external cellular antenna
adapter and the recommended coax low loss coax cable and, optionally, an
inline signal booster.
Connecting to your phone or device: Connecting a cell antenna to your
cell phone, cellular data card or other cellular device requires a
phone adapter cable.
To connect to other devices may require a
coax adapter.
