This mobile antenna is designed and built for demanding applications and typically outlast the cars they are mounted on. Laird Connectivity mobiles are used extensively on municipal vehicles, in off road racing, on industrial vehicles, taxi cabs and other high endurance applications such as police cruisers, emergency vehicles, and forestry service vehicles.

The Laird C144/440CS requires a standard NMO mount (sold separately). Most NMO mounts are installed by drilling a hole in the roof of your vehicle (roof must be metal). The cable is then routed under the headliner to the cell phone's location. This provides for an excellent ground plane and very solid permanent installation. Trunk lip mounts are also available.
