Lightning Suppression Kit for external antenna. This is a safety item that should be used on all external mount antennas.

This model features wide-band operation up to 3GHz. Due to its superior RF performance, this unit is ideal for IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless LAN applications, as well as ISM, MMDS, Cellular, iDEN and PCS applications. Since this protector will pass DC, it is suitable for applications where DC is carried through the coax cable such as remote amplifiers and LNAs.

This unit offers multi-strike capability via a replaceable gas tube element. A ground lug and terminal are supplied directly on the lightning protector housing providing superior grounding.

Protector is inserted inline between outside antenna and amplifier. The protector does not connect directly to the amplifier. Included in the kit is a 2' RG6  to be used to connect the protector to the amplifier although any length of 75 Ohm coax may be used.

The lightning protector must be grounded.
