Extends Coverage

The new CSI Wireless Engine uses DSP technology to deliver  unparalleled spectrum agility. It also offers the industry's sharpest filtering capabilities. DSP filtering provides unmatched selectivity and can be finely tuned to help overcome difficult RF problems such as adjacent channel interference. The CSI Digital Repeater permits re-tuning of multiple passband configurations, locally or remotely, with virtually no downtime. The Graphical User Interface allows for effortless set up and monitoring via a standard web browser.

The CSI Digital Repeater is designed for use within enclosed structures where sufficient signal from local cell sites to operate cell phones or data cards is limited or unavailable. Adequate signal must be available outside the structure as a prerequisite to achieving in-building coverage.

Typical Applications

Among facilities that can benefit from an in-building amplifier installation are parking garages, warehouses, basements, shielded structures, metal buildings, office complexes, campus environments, hospitals, and convention centers.

Depending upon exterior signal strength, cabling, interior antennas and interior construction, this amplifier can cover up to a Home Depot size building.

Items required for a complete system:

• Exterior antenna, typically 1900MHz PCS Yagi
• Interior antenna(s), typically 301121WPS - Dual-Band Ceiling Mount Omni-Directional Dome Antenna
• CSI Dual-Band splitter to connect more than one interior antenna, 2-way, 3-way, 4-way
• Cabling to connect components: 9913/LMR-400 for shorter runs, LMR-600 for longer runs. LMR-600 is recommended due to the higher cable losses at PCS frequencies
• Lightning protection is suggested to protect amplifier against exterior antenna lightning strikes
