A cost-effective solution to poor cellular reception inside homes, offices,
dorm rooms and condominiums, the Digital Antenna PowerMax 4KPR-15R Personal
Repeater provides reliable and clear cell phone communication equivalent to the
cell signal strength available outside the building. A simple Do-It-Yourself
installation with no tools required allows the system to be installed anywhere.
The 4KPR-15R is designed to provide up to 2500 square feet of coverage for users who do
not have the ability to mount a rooftop antenna. If you require greater coverage
area and can mount a rooftop antenna, the
DA4000SBR (DA4KSBR-50U) provides up to 5000 sq ft of
coverage.
| A Note About Coverage Area:
As with all repeater systems, quoted coverage area is open space
coverage with very good signal at the location of the donor (tower-side)
antenna. Coverage area will be reduced by walls and other obstructions
as well as by poor signal strength at the donor antenna location. |

The 4KPR-15R Personal Cell Phone repeater requires no physical connection to
your phone. How does this work? The window mounted antenna receives the signal
from the cell tower, the signal is amplified by the 4KPR-15R cell phone repeater
and then repeated to your cell phone. This technology even allows clean and
clear wireless functioning of multiple cell phones operating on 800 and 1900MHz
bands simultaneously (coverage area up to 2500 square feet).

Notes:
- A cell signal is REQUIRED at the location of the window antenna. Check
cell signal by looking at the bars on your cell phone and by making and
completing a test call. You must be able to make and complete a call at the
location of the window antenna. The window antenna should be placed at the
location where the cell signal is the strongest.
- Requires 10' of diagonal separation between window antenna and repeater unit.

Frequently Asked Questions
When using a personal cell repeater, 4KPR-15R, does the repeater
unit need to have a direct line of sight to the window mounted
antenna?
When using a personal cell repeater, 4KPR-15R, the big foot side of
the repeater unit faces the room where you desire enhanced
coverage. The repeater unit does not need line of sight to the
window and must be located facing away from, and at least 8-12'
from, the window antenna. The big foot side of the repeater unit
must always face the room and not the window.
When mounting the window antenna of a personal cell repeater,
4KPR-15R, which side of the window antenna faces out the window?
The plastic part of the window antenna (not mount) must face
outside. The window antenna's metal backside faces the room. Some
window mounts have a solid plastic back that is visible from the
room.
Why can't the personal repeater unit's front side (big foot) face
the window antenna?
The personal repeater unit's back side (small foot) MUST face the
window for proper operation. Improper use violates FCC regulations
and will damage the repeater unit. The repeater unit and window
antenna can not be placed facing each other. They should be placed
on a greater than 45 degree diagonal of each other.
What is the coverage pattern of the personal repeater?
The repeater unit's built-in antenna provides 65 degree coverage in
the horizontal plane with a vertical beam width of 55 degrees. The
front of the repeater unit (big foot) faces the enhanced coverage
area with the repeater unit’s back (small foot) facing the window.
The repeater unit's backside has no amplification which is necessary
to isolate the repeater unit from the window antenna.
How much power (wattage) is a repeater pumping into the room to
communicate with the cell phone?
All Digital Antenna repeaters are FCC approved and pass all
Effective Radiated Power (EIRP) regulations. The power being emitted
from a repeater's inside antenna is less than a cell phone and is
not harmful.
