Nextel Rebanding note: Due to interference between the Nextel 800MHz band and the Public Safety 800MHz band, Nextel will be moving their service to the 900MHz band. What this means is that at some point your 800MHz repeater will need to be replaced with a 900MHz repeater. More (PDF)

Extends Coverage

The Model 51062 in-building amplifier provides amplification of both uplink and downlink 800MHz SMR/Nextel cellular wireless signals in facilities located within reasonable proximity of cell sites.

Typical Applications

Among facilities that can benefit from an in-building amplifier installation are parking garages, warehouses, basements, shielded structures, metal buildings, office complexes, campus environments, hospitals, and convention centers.

Depending upon exterior signal strength, cabling, interior antennas and interior construction, this amplifier can cover up to a Home Depot size building.
