The Wilson SIGNALBOOST Vehicle
Wireless Dual-Band Cellular/PCS Amplifier improves RF coverage in areas with low signal strength. Together
with an outside antenna, the amplifier's state-of-the-art technology is designed
to increase your signal up to 10 times, reduce disconnects and dropouts, and
increase data communication rates needed for 3G technologies.
Works with all Cellular/PCS Service Providers except iDEN (Nextel/Southern LINC/Mike)

How the unit functions:
The 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular signal from the cell site is received by the
Wilson Cellular antenna (sold separately). The signal is then amplified and transmitted to your phone through the
included Ultra-slim inside antenna. When the phone transmits, the signal is sent
to the amplifier through the inside antenna and then amplified and sent to the cell site through the outside antenna. The Ultra-slim antenna may also be attached directl to a laptop or cellular data card
for maximum signal performance.
Compatible with:
All US Cellular/PCS carriers except iDEN carriers such as Nextel, SouthernLinc, Mike (Canada). iDEN users should use the 3 Watt Direct Connection Amplifier for Nextel/iDEN.
Compatible carriers include: Verizon, AT&T GSM/GPRS/TDMA, Cingular, Alltel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Cellular One, US Cellular, Midwest Wireless, Qwest, etc
Ideal for use with car kits requiring an external antenna. Adapter may be required to connect to your particular car kit.
