The Model 61080 in-building amplifier provides amplification of both uplink and downlink 1900MHz PCS B Block (1870-1885, 1950-1965MHz) wireless signals in facilities located within reasonable proximity of cell sites.

Typical Applications

Among facilities that can benefit from an in-building amplifier installation are parking garages, warehouses, basements, shielded structures, metal buildings, office complexes, campus environments, hospitals, and convention centers.

Depending upon exterior signal strength, cabling, interior antennas and interior construction, this amplifier can cover up to a Home Depot size building.

Items required for a complete system:

• Exterior antenna, typically 1900MHz PCS Yagi
• Interior antenna(s), typically 301121WPS - Dual-Band Omni-Directional Ceiling Mount Antenna or Cellular Specialties Tri-Band Omni-Directional Ceiling Mount Antenna
• CSI Dual-Band splitter to connect more than one interior antenna, 2-way, 3-way, 4-way
• Cabling to connect components: 9913/LMR-400 for shorter runs, LMR-600 for longer runs. LMR-600 is recommended due to the higher cable losses at PCS frequencies
• Lightning protection is suggested to protect amplifier against exterior antenna lightning strikes
