About the CM2100-62AWS :
The CM2100-62AWS provides completely wireless boosting of signals for multiple users simultaneously. It supports all cellphone handsets and service providers in the AWS frequency bands, and is perfect for use in office enterprises, large vehicles (ships, trains, buses), or homes with multiple users. A cellphone can be boosted as far as 200 feet away. A sophisticated Protection circuit also prevents damage to the amplifier due to interference or improper installation.
With a CM2100-62AWS amplifier doing all the long-range work, the battery on your cell phone drains much more slowly which increases your talk time. Finally, with proper use of the CM2100-62AWS, dangerous hot spots are removed a safe distance from the user's body.
Important Information Regarding Coverage:
- Coverage is dependent upon the strength of the signal received from the tower at the outside antenna. At the location that the outside antenna is mounted a signal strength of at least 3 bars is required. Use of a high-gain directional antenna for the outside antenna improves coverage area.
How the unit functions:
The 1710-1755 / 2110-2155 MHz cellular signal from the cell site is received by the Outside antenna (not included). The signal is then amplified and transmitted to your phone through the inside antenna. When the phone transmits, the signal is sent to the amplifier through the inside antenna and then amplified and sent to the cell site through the outside antenna.

Installation:
In order for your system to function properly, you must maintain adequate separation between the interior and exterior antennas. This amplifier requires a minimum of 20' of separation between the outside and inside antennas. If a directional antenna is used for either the inside or outside antenna, ensure that it is not pointed at the other antenna.
