This specially
packaged kit includes the
Wilson Cellular 811210 Signal Boost Amplifier as well as the Magnetic mount exterior antenna (301103) and
Wilson Cellular Cell Phone
Cradle Plus.The Wilson Cellular SIGNALBOOST (inline) Bi-directional Amplifier improves RF coverage in areas with no signal or low signal strength. The unit amplifies both 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular and PCS signals providing up to 3 Watts of output power on the 800MHz band and 2 Watts of output power on the 1900MHz (PCS) Band.
Works with all Cellular/PCS Service Providers except iDEN (Nextel/Southern LINC/Mike)

What's the difference between the
SignalBoost (811210) and the 811201?
Connectivity:
The SignalBoost/811210 will work with any phone or data card whether
or not it has an adapter port whereas the
811201 must be plugged
directly into a phone or data card with the appropriate
phone
adapter cable.
Performance: As the SignalBoost/811210 does not directly
connect to the phone or card's RF port the performance is below that
of an 811201.
Recommendation: If your phone or data card does not have an
antenna port or antenna adapter available, the SignalBoost/811210 is
the best choice. If a
phone adapter cable is available and you want
maximum performance, the
811201 is the best choice.

How the unit functions:
The 800MHz and 1900MHz cellular signal from the cell site is received by the
Magnetic mount exterior antenna (301103). The signal is then amplified and transmitted to your phone
through the included Wilson
Cellular Cell Phone Cradle Plus. When the phone transmits, the signal is sent to the amplifier through the
cradle and then amplified and sent to the cell site through the outside antenna.
Note: In order to maintain improved signal, your phone
must be left in
cradle during usage (i.e.
you must use a headset or hands free car kit.)
Compatible with:
All US Cellular/PCS carriers except iDEN carriers such as Nextel, SouthernLinc, Mike (Canada). iDEN users should use the 3 Watt Direct Connection Amplifier for Nextel/iDEN.
Compatible carriers include: Verizon, AT&T GSM/GPRS/TDMA, Cingular, Alltel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Cellular One, US Cellular, Midwest Wireless, Qwest, etc
Ideal for use with car kits requiring an external antenna. Adapter may be required to connect to your particular car kit.
