Notes:
- Interior Cellular signal range is 3' to 4'
away from the interior antenna. This is because if the interior and exterior
antenna signals interfere with each other the system will not work. This is
the reason that the glass mount antenna is not recommended.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with
iDEN (Nextel, Southern LINC, Mike) - both
cellular calls and Direct Connect
- Not compatible with
800MHz Cellular providers (most Verizon, AT&T TDMA, US Cellular, analog, etc) or
1900MHz PCS (AT&T GSM,
Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Qwest)
- Not compatible with 1700MHz AWS (T-Mobile US 3G)
- Nextel Rebanding note: Due to interference between the Nextel 800MHz band and the Public Safety 800MHz band, Nextel will be moving their service to the 900MHz band. What this means is that at some point your 800MHz repeater will need to be replaced with a 900MHz repeater. More (PDF)
