The Wilson Desktop Cellular Antenna is the perfect solution for portable use where a fixed mount antenna is not possible. It also works well as the interior antenna for amplifier installations because of its built in grounding system. Be aware however that its directional 100 degree beam, we recommend the ARC wireless freedom desktop antenna for use in situations where a full 360 degree array is desired.
The Desktop antenna is popular with business travelers who desire a portable use antenna solution in hotel rooms.
The 301208 can also be used as a broadcast style desktop antenna when connected to a repeater unit. The Desktop Antenna works with any of wpsantennas.com's in-building wireless amplifiers, which support multiple cell phones and data cards simultaneously.
If using in a home your phone must be able to pick up a signal at the window you plan on placing the antenna. If there is no signal at the window you will need a stronger outdoor antenna such as the Wilson Cellular Home/Trucker Mirror Mount.
A phone adapter cable is required to connect Wilson Cellular antennas to your phone.
